Opticians Association of New Mexico

The Opticians Association of New Mexico (OANM) is a non-profit state organization representing the uniformity of formal education in opticianry.

The Opticians Association of New Mexico's primary goal is to establish a means of education in the field of opticianry for state opticians, apprentices, ophthalmic technicians, assistants and for anyone working in, or aspiring to work in the eye care field. 

Our immediate and ongoing goal is to assist opticians and related professionals in becoming nationally certified by the American Board of Opticians and provide educational workshops as a means for continuing education credits.
